Relational Therapy in Portland, Oregon

Are you feeling stuck in how you connect with others?

You’ve been working hard to feel close, to be seen and understood, but maybe you’re also

  • Feeling anxious in your relationships

  • Struggling to trust that people will stay

  • Feeling alone even when you’re not

  • Noticing old wounds repeat in your connections

  • Pulling away when things get vulnerable

  • Wanting closeness but feeling overwhelmed by it

  • Falling into the same painful patterns

  • People-pleasing or having trouble setting boundaries

  • Wishing you could feel more secure and grounded

Change is possible.

Together, we’ll focus on building the tools and awareness you need to create the kinds of relationships you want. In therapy, we will

  • Build a safe, supportive relationship where you can practice new ways of connecting

  • Explore how past experiences are shaping your present relationships

  • Strengthen your ability to notice emotions and body cues in real time

  • Practice healthier patterns for closeness, communication, and boundary-setting

  • Increase your confidence in asking for what you need

  • Deepen your sense of self so relationships feel like a choice, not a struggle

  • Grow resilience and clarity to move toward relationships that support your growth

Relational Therapy

Relationships shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. At times, they can also leave us feeling depleted and caught in cycles of over-giving, struggling to set boundaries, or fearing disconnection if we show up as our full selves. You may notice yourself repeating the same patterns in friendships, family, or partnerships and wonder if something can shift.

In relational therapy, we’ll gently uncover the roots of these struggles and work toward building new ways of being in relationship that feel more supportive, balanced, and true to you. Together, we’ll create space for insight, compassion, and growth, helping you step into connections where you feel seen, valued, and authentic.
