About Therapy
I believe we are:
Shaped by our connections and belonging, past and present
Changed in relationships full of authenticity, curiosity, compassion, and respect.
My approach is:
Calm, grounding and relational
A blend of self-compassion, mindfulness and somatic practices.
LGBTQIA+ affirming
Neurodivergence-friendly
Culturally sensitive
Trauma-informed
I provide therapy services as a professional counselor associate (#R11098) under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Thomas, PhD, LMFT.
There comes a point in life when we realize the ways we’ve been moving through the world no longer serve us. Sometimes that knowing arrives gently; other times, it crashes in. Either way, it’s an invitation to pause, listen, and choose what’s next.
I see therapy as that kind of pause. A place to slow down enough to notice what’s happening inside, to tend to the parts of you that have been working so hard, and to welcome in more compassion and possibility.
Some things I love to do:
Swimming
Pottery
Baking
Yoga
Reading
If we work together, I’ll invite you to notice your present experience, to meet yourself with kindness, and to explore what becomes possible when self-compassion takes the lead.
