Approach
Hi, I’m Hilary Foreman.
I believe we are shaped by our connections, past and present, and that healing happens in relationship. In our work together, we will create a space where you can be fully yourself, met with curiosity, compassion, and respect.
My approach is integrative and relational, blending self-compassion, mindfulness and somatic practices. I pay close attention to the mind–body connection, inviting awareness of your body, breath, and emotions as you share present-moment insights that can reveal deep truths about your needs, beliefs, and patterns.
I welcome people of all identities and lived experiences. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergence-friendly, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed.
I provide therapy services as a professional counselor associate (#R11098) under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Thomas, PhD, LMFT.
You can expect our work will be:
Relational: Built on trust, presence, and the safety of being truly seen.
Trauma-informed: Respecting the pace your body and heart can hold, never pushing past what feels safe.
Somatic: Attuning to how grief and trauma live in your body, helping you release, soften, and reconnect.
Mindful & Compassionate: Practicing awareness, breath, and gentle curiosity instead of judgment.
Through this, we’ll walk side by side as you learn to carry your grief with tenderness, reweave trust in relationships, and rediscover the parts of yourself that long for belonging and peace.
