Anxiety Therapy in Portland, Oregon
Is anxiety making it hard to feel close, seen, or understood?
You may find yourself:
Feeling anxious in your relationships, even with people you care about
Struggling to trust that others will stay or understand you
Feeling alone or disconnected, even when you’re not physically alone
Noticing old wounds or patterns repeat in your connections
Pulling away when things feel vulnerable or emotionally intense
Wanting closeness but feeling overwhelmed by it
Falling into cycles of overthinking, people-pleasing, or difficulty setting boundaries
Wishing you could feel more secure, steady, and grounded
Change is possible.
Together, we will focus on building the awareness and supports you need to feel steadier and more at ease. We can explore:
Building a safe and supportive relationship where your nervous system can begin to settle
How anxiety and past experiences shape your thoughts, reactions, and relationships in the present
Strengthening your ability to notice emotions, body cues, and early signs of stress in real time
Supportive patterns for communication, closeness, and boundaries without over explaining or over giving
Increasing confidence in asking for what you need and trusting your internal signals
Deepening your sense of self beyond anxiety and self doubt
Building resilience, clarity, and a greater sense of calm in daily life
Individual Therapy
You may be feeling depleted and caught in cycles of worry and over giving, struggling to set boundaries, or fearing disconnection when you show up as your full self. Anxiety can keep your nervous system on high alert, replaying interactions, anticipating others’ needs, or pulling you back into familiar patterns in friendships, family, or partnerships. You might wonder if something can finally shift.
In anxiety therapy, we gently explore the roots of these patterns and how they show up in both your thoughts and your body. Together, we work toward ways of relating that help your nervous system settle and feel safer, creating more balance, clarity, and self trust. This work makes space for insight, compassion, and growth, supporting you in building connections where you feel grounded, valued, and authentically yourself.
